Empowering
Disadvantaged
Students to Succeed Utilizing MYSELF*
Making
Youths Successful Employing Lifetime Formulas (MYSELF) is the
concept of noted author and motivational speaker, Arlene T. Dyer.
After a meaningful twenty year career working with the California
State Employment Office assisting disadvantaged clients, welfare
recipients and ex-felons, Ms. Dyer authored a series of books
and sponsors empowering seminars to help disadvantaged adults
successfully rejoin the work force.
Convinced it is easier to build a child than to mend an adult,
Ms. Dyer is actively using her skills as a motivator, educator
and post employment counselor to counteract the mounting negative
situations facing youths today and equip them with skills essential
for successful future employment.
At this time, Ms. Dyer has formed MYSELF, Inc., a non profit 501(c)(3)
educational organization to assist disadvantaged, underachieving
and at risk youth counteract the negative effects of dysfunctional
family and interactions.
